About Freedom Benefits

Freedom Benefits provides simple affordable independent support to small businesses in the design and management of their employee benefits. Service is provided by your own experienced benefits professional at a price any business can afford. Our services are focused on reducing health expenses in order to maximize a small firm's benefits budget and replicate the features and advantages of a large company's benefit plan. Plans can be expanded to include any number of savings, retirement or supplemental insurance plans.

Freedom Benefits Association was established in 1997 to help answer individual employee's questions during online enrollment of employee benefits. Since then the service was adapted to serve individual online insurance shoppers and then to provide expanded support for business owners. Freedom Benefits has supported more than 50,000 user requests on about 40 Web sites that handle online financial transactions.

FreedomBenefits.org is the project of adviser Tony Novak, MBA, MT, a health insurance agent in all 50 states and DC, consumer health care advocate, speaker and writer for more than 24 years. Novak was the developer of MedSave, one of the nation's first online health insurance exchanges and recognized as an authority in Health Savings Accounts and consumer-driven benefit plans.

During peak periods our Web-based service may be supported by other health insurance professionals. Other advisers are typically volunteers or loosely connected business affiliates employed in a health insurance or health care profession; their contributions may be anonymous.
